If I choose VE for my natural gas and/or electricity, do I have to call my utility to let them know?
No. When you sign up with VE, we will contact your utility and notify them that you’ve chosen us as your natural gas and/or electricity supplier.

Does anyone have to come out to my house to make changes?
No. Your utility will still deliver your gas/electricity, send you a monthly bill and handle all of your service calls, just as they always have. The only difference will be VE will appear on your bill as the supplier.

Can I still get “budget billing”?
Yes. If you are in the budget billing program now, nothing will change. If you would like to sign up for budget billing, contact your utility.

Does my utility approve of my switching to VE?
Absolutely! VE is certified in all states they serve as a natural gas marketing company and serves tens of thousands of satisfied customers across the Midwest.

Is there any paperwork to fill out?
For natural gas, there's simply a brief information form that you can fill out online, or if you prefer, one of our agents or customer service representatives will be glad to assist you over the phone or in person.  Just make sure you have your gas bill handy for easy processing. 

Businesses enrolling in our electricity program must complete the enrollment form available online or from one of our agents.  Completed forms may be returned via US mail, fax or email.

Is there a long term commitment or a cancellation fee?
No.  There is no cancellation fee and we only need 30 days notice should you change your service.

How long does it take for VE to appear on my bill as my gas supplier?
Usually, your service with VE will start one billing cycle after sign-up.

What if I have a question regarding my bill?
Call us for any questions on the cost of your natural gas or electricity, and call your utility for all other questions.
